Financial and Retail Services (FRS) issues Target's credit cards through Target National Bank. The Target credit card is a good card for anyone with a fair or better credit score:
It's also known as the Target RedCard and offers a 5% discount back on all Target in-store and online purchases, specialty gift cards, shipping charges, and drive-up service. The 5% discount also includes all Starbucks purchases at Starbucks located within a Target store.
The card does have a high APR at 27.15% variable but does not have an annual fee, which saves you approximately $22 as compared to the average credit card. While balance transfers are not allowed, there is a 25-day grace period before interest begins to accrue on your balance owing.
Target is the eighth biggest retailer in the United States and is one of the largest American-owned private employers in the country. The store was founded 120 years ago and, as of 2023, has 1,948 stores across the country.

Q: Is there a difference between my Target.com account and Manage My RedCard?
A: According to the help page on Target's website, "A Target.com account is used to manage your online orders and registries, while Manage My RedCard is used to manage your Target Credit Card, Target Debit Card and Target Mastercards, including paying your RedCard credit card bill, setting alerts, viewing transactions and updating your personal information."
Q: Does Wallet in the Target app have adequate security features?
A: Yes. The RedCard in your Wallet has a unique barcode that is generated each time you access Wallet. The barcode expires after several minutes, so you can't screenshot or print your barcode.
Q: Can I use more than one credit card payment per order on Target.com?
A: No, you can only use one credit card payment per order. But you can combine your Target RedCard with up to 10 Target GiftCard payments. The charge sequence will be first on the gift cards and then on your credit card.
